A new friend came to my system carputer of my car and, if you have installed flash plugin, you can see below an animation from the home page of the product.

Its name is e-dog and it only moves head and shows a series of LEDs by following music, but the result, on night, is truly of effect. These below are some photos taken inside my car, you can find other photos of my e-dog in the photo gallery.

Update 2005-11-20.

Since lately the operating system was giving to me of the problems and the blocks that seemed caused from problems on the hard disk, I have thought that, since these problems were not never reveal to you on my old car, but them the carputer it was fixed under to the protect pianale and therefore from vibrations, I have thought that the problem could exactly be the vibrations.

I have for which decided to instead hang the hard disk from the advanced face of the carputer that to have it fixed on the inferior face. This below is
the result of the modification:

For the report, inasmuch as also after this modification the hard disk it has continued to give of the problems, I have decided to analyze the problem more seriously and me they are shrewed that the anomalies were due instead to one of the cables that fed the hard disk that, being po' a dancer, it interrupted for some microaccording to the contact with the connector of the hard disk, extinguishing, of fact, the hard disk.

Realization.

After to have taken a machine new, my greater fear was that one of having to transfer the computer that I had in my Fiat Brava in the new car. Moreover, beyond moving the carputer physically, I wanted also to bring some improvements to the hardware and the software. We see of what draft.

In the first place, I introduce to you, to my left, its maestà the Neobox in its last one release, in my study darkened for the occasion during the realization of the last modifications hardware.

Regarding the version previous hardware I have removed the hard-disk compact flash from which it made boot the operating system in how much, although it reduced tantississo the time of startup of the atmosphere, lately was giving to signals of yielding with difettori fields and errors on the disc. Therefore I have replaced as master boot disk harddisk "the standard" and reinstallato the operating system.

I have replaced cable IDE standard with one rounded and installed two led blue in the plexiglass for risaltare frontalino and the new created holes. In fact, the greater modification hardware has regarded the houses in plaxiglass. In the previous version in fact, the aereazione holes were placed on the face to laterare skillful of the houses and, on this same face there was the switch who ignited the lights of the PC. This because the neobox it had been fixed with the advanced face under to the pianale of the portabagagli of my Good one. This time but this type of assembly has not been possible and it is chosen to mount the neobox laterally.  This has involved that the aereazione holes were obstructed and the unfit for use push-button. Therefore I have modified the houses replacing the slab pierced with one full, moving the switch on the posterior slab and creating, in the advanced face the aereazione holes. Moreover, inasmuch as these holes would be turn out to you a lot in sight, I have created a reason with AutoCad that it generated, with the holes the written "Neobox by Emiliano" and therefore I have placed oportunamente one of the two led blue in order to render the written one still more effective.

As far as the system of the system in car, this time, be a matter themselves of a new car and wanting to do good the things in order, I do not have potuto/voluto to make the things handicraft but they are turned who to me knows some more than me.

The company HiFi Di Prinzio of Chieti Port of call has been very happy, to forehead of a consistent cost, to help me to render my perfectly integrated system in the new car.

This time, knowing of having however transferring the system, I have chosen the new car of way to have to disposition a double DIN where to embed monitor LCD TouchScreen that mine commands carputing. Moreover, being to me turned to experts in the field of the HiFi, I have decided to equip to the audio system of my car with an amplifier 6 channels STEG, a subhoofer and have replaced cases and tweeter it originates them with the other performanti ones.

Inasmuch as, this time, I want to equip mine carputing of the possibility to be annoying in INTERNET and of chattare, it was necessary to find miniums keyboard adapted. These miniums keyboard have been the Columbus egg.

Here finally you can see the final result with the monitor embedded in the dashboard and miniums keyboard fixed in strategic position to two steps from the fixed steering and in one of the bocchette of aereazione center them.
